apple pies,
bare feet on a rolling floor,
rinsing dishes while he dries.

Someday not too distant
she will look down to see him
kneeling,
and she will say yes, maybe cry,
and by the little band
be bound
wonderfully, foreverly.

(She already is, by her heart.)

It has been a while since
flowers
and she doesn't mind.

(Flowers are expensive.)

She'll miss her music,
but there won't be room for her piano.

After four years of ghosting around here, I've posted some whimsical ramblings in Scraps, the glimmerings of a novelistic future if you will.

As I have continued to be intermittently artistic in the intervening years, I'll endeavour to collect some photos and scannings of my favourite pieces and put those up as well. Hopefully flesh out my little gallery.
